In the Aftermath of 9/11: A New York City Paper Ephemera and Autograph Collector's Journey
An extensive look (with slides and in chronological order) at what I collected at over 200 New York City area public and private occasions that addressed 9/11 aftermath-related issues (recovery, security, health, peace, war, etc.) from September 11, 2001 until September 12, 2008. The entire archive encompasses over 3000 pieces of paper ephemera and 500 autographs of event participants (from New York and throughout the U.S. and the world).

 

Biographical Information:

I have been an in person New York City area event-specific paper ephemera and autograph collector since 1997.

My specific archives include: C-SPAN/BookTV autograph collection (1997-2010); Columbia University Medical Center event-related autograph collection (1997-2009); Dr. Mehmet Oz autograph collection (2003-2009); 9/11 Aftermath paper ephemera and autograph collection (September 2001 - September 2008); Fourteen month 9/11 Aftermath paper ephemera collection (Acquired by the future Memorial Museum in January 2010).
